Alaska has a pretty good award chart for travel from US-India on a few partner carriers IIRC. Bank of America issues an Alaska card, or you could get an SPG card (which would have a higher earning potential due to the 25% bonus when transferring 20k SPG points to miles).

That depends on which carriers you fly, and if you have any status.

With that combo go with some combination of the Chase United Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve/Preferred. The bonuses from getting 2 cards will add up nicely and I'd suggest dropping the United card after the first year if you don't use it for baggage allowance and/or elite status advancement and then getting the other Chase Sapphire card for the next bonus.

Read up on the CSR bonus at bank branch.

whats your 5/24 situation?
that said get the following in order - CSR(ASAP in branch), CSP (downgrade or cancel after a year), CFU (instead of united club card, this gets you 1.5 m/$ without the fee), United mileage plus explorer(only with 50K to 70K offers).

Also focus on getting status with United. Try to fly only on star alliance to maximize united miles.

Question FL To Delhi - Which credit card should I apply to work towards award travel

Seniors, my parent flys from FL to Delhi, India once a year and I get her a business class ticket with award miles. I m thinking of getting a new credit card but not sure which would be best for my situation so I can accrue miles with daily spending then buy her a ticket with enough miles overtime. Can you guys suggest me any good card? Thanks in advance.

What cards do you currently have?
What cards, if any, have you had in the past 5-10 years that have been closed?
How many have you opened in the past 2 years?
What points balances do you currently have?
Do you have any airline program mileage balances?

Any categories of spending that you spend a significant amount on?

It would be helpful if you could answer ALL the questions asked.

Also, do you have a preferred airline?
