Targeted Barclays Aviator offer: 30K bonus for $2.5K spend for 6 consecutive months.
DH and I both received offers for our Aviator cards via email today. The offer begins December 1 and runs through the end of May. Spend 2.5k each month and receive a 30K bonus. Woo Hoo! Check your email!
All this and they just waived my annual fee yesterday and offered 2x on gas, restaurants, toy stores, and utilities!

On these, very little. We had four between us initally and downgraded one a to a Barclay Card for cash back. The one account that remains that we do use quite often due to targeted spends has not received this offer to date.

I got the same offer via email.
Originally got this card as a US Airways card in Feb 2013. If I recall initial bonus was after first purchase, so I bought a coke and threw it in the sock drawer. Several months later, got the 15k offer for... I think it was $750 a month for 3 consecutive months?
Then once again, stopped spending but I've kept the card for the annual 10k mile bonus.
This is a great offer, but a lot of spend. If only direct swipe Redbird was still around...

I got the same offer, kind of a lot to spend per month though especially for 6 months and I have other cards I need to put spend on to maximize the rewards of most use to me.
Viable MS seems to be gone for me right now.

Also received this offer today.
The response here seems positive, but I am unsure. My thinking:
PROS
- no hard pull
- 3 AA miles/$ is an excellent return
CONs
- The terms amount to six independent monthly challenges.
- $15K spend is potentially the minimum spend for a number of signup bonuses

We can't answer that for you. Some destinations in some cabins of travel went up, some went down, some stayed the same. Without knowing where you want to travel with those miles, and in which cabin, it's impossible to say.
Plus another way of looking at it is:
If the miles you needed went up, be happy that you can get more miles.
If you're not going to go for this offer, how else will you afford to take those trips? Just because miles needed went up does mean that miles are no longer a good value compared to cash. It still, as always, depends on the specifics.
However, this bonus is essentially just 3x miles on all purchases, but only if you make the required number of purchases (otherwise it's only the normal 1x). There are certainly better offers out there if you're looking around all of FlyerTalk. And this part is valid whether AA devalued or not! Ie, is this really the best way to earn AA miles, if you do choose to earn AA miles? If guess it depends on whether you're riding the World -> World Elite train every time it departs over at Citi or not.
