Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html

Best* redemption found to date is $1,000 prepaid visa for 105K pts. It's now 125K pts for a $1,000 prepaid visa. Link to catalog

I don't have an answer for you from personal experience. I spent some extra for the bonus -- didn't want to risk it with the statement closing dates.

However, I would love to know how you got the $50k sign-up bonus rather than the piddly 50k/75k points the rest of us got

wondering if there’s any data points of AU cards not reimbursing Global Entry. I have multiple AX cards that will also pay GE fees for d, sil and granddaughter, but having them use CNB AU cards is more convenient.

Priority Pass- I read that 2 AUs can be designated. Is that 2 AUs in addition to primary card member? I am asking since my husband would be primary but already gets PP on another premium card. Can he designate me and another AU?

That should be fine. Pretty sure that the two PP members don't even have to be AUs, can be any 2 people. Do note that this PP membership allows unlimited guests which is rather generous and unusual.

Applied at City National branch in SF (150 California St) on Friday. They validated my parking which was nice ($7 for every 30 minutes, it took me an hour to apply). Received a call saying I was approved today (Tuesday). The banker said it would take 2~3 weeks for me to get the card in the mail, which seems oddly slow, especially if I have to spend $5k in 90 days.

Application itself took about 45 minutes and did not require nearly as much information/documentation as others have reported. They asked me:
  • SSN (obvi)
  • Married/single
  • Own/rent
  • Monthly rent/mortgage payment
  • Liquid assets
    • Cash
    • Brokerage/investments
    • Retirement accounts without withdrawal penalties
  • Non-salary forms of income (alimony, etc...)
  • Employer
  • Length of time at employer
  • ID (drivers license)
Oddly enough, they did not ask for my annual income, W2, pay stubs, or anything related how much I make. Maybe they are loosening their requirements? Or I just look rich? (jk, I do not). Prior to coming in, they did ask if I knew my credit score and I responded that I did not know exactly, but that it was 800+.

Hope this helps anyone who plans on applying!

I personally would never sell them too riskily.

I had a very similar application experience last fall in southern CA. No income verification etc. I also don't "look rich." Maybe this varies by branch?

I tried Cardpool, but like you it sat it pending for like 1 week. I yanked it off and sold on ebay.

It's 2 PP memberships total. Not sure if the primary account holder has to be one of them.
