***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.
Best* redemption found to date is $1,000 prepaid visa for 105K pts. It's now 125K pts for a $1,000 prepaid visa. Link to catalog

if i purchase an AA gc today and it posts before 1/1, is it ok for the credit to show in 01/2019? does it count against 2018 credit or 2019?

I was curious about this as well. Reading the terms and conditions of the card it states that the charge must post by year end to be included in the calendar year credit. Based on the terms I would think as long is it posts before the end of the year it should count towards that years credit.

Are you stating that one can get 4 AUs? Most if not all blog posts about this card mentions that card can have up to 3 AUs; I guess that is based on "time of application?"

Good luck.
I received my card and my AU's in the same package; next day shipping.

Different card numbers for AU

i received my primary card and made a $250 aa egift card purchase. I’m hoping it will post by year end and be credited for 2018. I have my wife as an AU but I haven’t received her card. Any chance I can use the AU fee credit by making another purchase on the primary card? Are they different card numbers? Is there a way they differentiate between primary and AU charges?

CNB issues unique card numbers. This will not work.

Cards all have different numbers. (I suspect that will eventually change in the future)

There is some way on the web site that you can go into the charges and drill into them to see who charged what.

(My kids are only allowed to get 1 fast food meal a week, and I can tell when they do that....)

Has anyone tried to change the cardholders who get Priority Pass after the initial Priority Pass cards have been issued? I boneheadedly signed myself up for the PP membership even though I already receive it via another card...

Well my purchases on AA from the 27th have not posted yet. They are not even in pending. Even though I got the purchased email confirmation from AA. Fingers crossed because I am not stupid enough to call.

I bought one on 12/22 and another with AU card on 12/24 - both posted on 12/24 but didn't show up until a few days later. Like you keeping fingers crossed on the credits ...

Thanks for this. I actually charged an AA egc 12/24/2018, still haven't received credit. I also just received my authorized users CC's today. Does anyone have any experience with the travel credit getting applied as long as transaction date is before new year? I looked in previous years and I couldn't find any sample.

I also saw this though:

I had $109 of seat fees eligible for reimbursement but was only reimbursed for $100 because I maxed out of the $250 annual limit in 2015. If it was counted towards 2016, I would have been reimbursed for the full $109...

I called crystal concierge and was told (after she confirmed and called me back) Visa allows 7 business day after the 1st of the year for posting to receive credits for the current year. So my guess is you will still get credits for this year if you make a purchase today. I made one on 12/29 and still waiting for it to post too.

this could also explain why posting at the beginning of the year is slow for purchases made after 1/1.
