Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.

I did a search and haven't been able to find an answer to this. Has anyone tried redeeming points by booking hotel through the Crystal Card Concierge and could validate if these bookings would be premier qualifying (at Marriott / SPG) so I get stay credits and can enjoy benefits as an elite member? Asking because using some portals (e.g. Citi's Thank You site) are likely going to show up as booked via OTA, but not sure about the Concierge here.

I don't think this is correct. You only get two Priority Pass accounts no matter how many AUs you have.
But that is not my original question. My question is whether or not the PP holders need to be the primary or one of the AUs.

PP can be AUs

My CNB rep said PP was limited to primary cardholder and ONE AU. I wanted two AU since I have other PP but was denied.

IIRC There are some DPs earlier in this forum were people got PP for NON-AUs. Fun fact: If you take a look at the application forms they just ask for the name of the PP recipient. In theory you can type any name you want there. However, if you take a look at the benefits guide it clearly states "up to 2 cardholders". This means that you can't/shouldn't be able to put any name there but also means that it does not have to be "primary + AU" as mentioned above.

One problem with the business model of CNB is that pretty much everything has to be handled by your relationship manager so is not like a big (and less personal) bank where you can HUCA until you get someone who can help you get what you need.

There is nothing in the Terms & Conditions that state you're even supposed to get the credit to begin with.

From the CNB "Guide to Benefits" (pg. 16):

Under the Airline Incidental Fees Statement Credit benefit, each cardholder under the Crystal Visa Infinite Card account ("Account") may receive a discount up to $250 per calendar year for Qualifying Airline Purchases (as defined below) charged to the cardholder's Crystal Visa Infinite Card ("Cardholder Card").

^ This information is incomplete. Yes, you're supposed to get $250 per card but if you continue reading it defines what a Qualifying Airline Purchase is and what does NOT qualify:

Airline ticket purchases, seat fees (including upgrade and preferred seat charges), standby fees, carry-on and checked pet fees, mileage point purchases, mileage points, transfer fees, gift cards, duty free purchases, award tickets and fees incurred with airline alliance partners do not qualify as Qualifying Airline Purchases
Items above have been somewhat discussed on this forum and you're not entitled to a credit for these. Calling the bank asking for a credit is just asking for unwanted attention at your account (A.K.A. a very stupid move)

Like most things with CNB, you have to call. I had an incorrect digit in the apartment number, which didn't really affect delivery. I looked to change it online and when there wasn't anywhere to do it, I just left it. One day on a call with an agent about an unrelated issue, they asked for the address as verification and when I told them it was slightly off, they changed it for me.

For sure. I was referring to this post #1859 and just wanted to point out that AUs *are* eligible for refunds too. (That list is exclusions leaves me hard-pressed to find something I'd actually be able to use it on...)

How long does it take for you to receive the refund from AA? I am on the same boat where I fail to retrieve the AA gift card. Thanks!

I am wondering the same. It's now 10 days after the statement in which MSR was met. No sign of bonus.

Has anybody had success applying for this card over the phone or having a banker send an application? I'm questioning my desire of actually driving into NYC just for this card.
