Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.
Best* redemption found to date is $1,000 prepaid visa for 105K pts. It's now 125K pts for a $1,000 prepaid visa. Link to catalog

It comes in a fancy box. I would rank it somewhere between the Amex Platinum and Citi Prestige in terms of 'WOW' factor.

Also, can you provide any insights on the quality of customer service you get from this card? I have USB AR and I think it has pretty bad CS and concierge service. Citi prestige is not bad but I feel it's hard to get claims paid (it almost feels like a cheap insurance company finding the littlest hole to just deny your claim). Funny enough I feel I get the best customer service from the Amex blue cash i got 8 years ago which has no annual fee

Have you filed a coverage claim using this card (rental CDW, baggage/trip delay, etc)?
What's the quality of the concierge?
What's the quality of the CS?
I see some people valuating points at really wide ranges (I've seen 0.8 ~ 1.4x for flights alone) If you had the chance, would you take 0 points + NO AF or would you take the 50k points?
Looking around I see some pretty bad comments about the app and website so I lost my hope there.

I'd take 50k points. You can definitely redeem for flights at more than 1 cpp.

Yes, the website is bad, and the app is non-existent (doesn't support credit card only customers).

Is there any DPs regarding how sensitive CNB is regarding people with many recently opened credit cards or inquires? Thanks.

I just got approved with 6 credit inquiries.
They seem to use Experian to pull your credit. Many issuers use equifax and/or Transunion. You may want to check if you have less pulls on experian (at least that was my case).
The newest card on my credit report opened 1yr ago.
4 out of the 6 credit inquiries were for mortgage shopping + other 2 for CC applications

Application process is rigorous. You have to fill in balance of accounts, broker accounts balances, verify your income (W2, Taxes or pay stub). I don't know if this is an indicator of approval rigorousness or simply that they are a small bank or that they have an ancient/non-streamlined underwriting process.

I am looking for some DP regarding AUs:
Can you add people who do not live at your same address + different last name (example: in laws). This is so that they have access to the $250 incidental credit, gogo internet, visa infinite travel portal, $100 global entry, etc.

When I applied, the banker informed me that they're not inquiry sensitive. As a DP, I had 2 inquiries from the grAAvy train in the same month as applying.

I noticed they ask for name, SSN and address of the AU. Did you put his address or your address?

I used my father's address on the AU form. My banker did not have any issues.

Also, for anyone on the fence on this card... do apply soon! The bonus has been increased to 75k points

yes... I applied Tuesday last week. Received the card TODAY.. I tried to contact my banker the entire day with no success. I will try her tomorrow again. I haven't even activated the card with hopes they can add me to the 75k offer... It's kind of ridiculous that I missed this by like 3 days.

I am curious too. In order to apply a checking account, the website asks you to choose a state and it needs to be one of those states that CNB is located. But is that a really requirement? what happens if you apply their checking account while you are not living in one of those states?
