Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.
Best* redemption found to date is $1,000 prepaid visa for 105K pts. It's now 125K pts for a $1,000 prepaid visa. Link to catalog

Is there any real benefit to CLEAR if I already have GE and don't live in any of the CLEAR airport cities?

Wow.... now I'm really nervous about the airline fee credit not showing up - especially for AUs

Presumably, if you ever depart from a CLEAR airport, there would be some benefit. Remember that TSA pre-check only applies for flights with certain airlines...

In my experience, the CLEAR desk is often unmanned after 5-6PM. Though, I presume that there is some way to request someone to come. Regardless, I did sign up for the service.

Also, felt obligated to update the wiki.

Just used CLEAR at MIA. It was just, Meh, for me. It got me through the line, but they didn't have a designated security line, so it wasn't any faster than pre-check.

If they had more locations, I'm sure it would be better. But to have to do an in-person "interview" to complete the process, doesn't seem to be worth it to me.

Is there a way to deposit the $1000 from the prepaid Visa card into a bank account? Otherwise we use it as a credit card?

anyone else get the notification that the CLEAR benefit is ending 2/15/16? sign up if you haven't, since that's the last day you can enroll for free. i didn't see it mentioned elsewhere, so i sent an email about it to the points guy's tip line - maybe they'll send me $200 and i can use it to get another year when my freebie expires!

Why do you think we'll get it? It's been over 20 days, and no one has gotten any airline reimbursement for 2016.

The ultimate test will be for someone who didn't get the bonus in 2015 (or even just someone who didn't get the bonus on an AU card) to try and get one for 2016.

That's what I was thinking. I know some applicants didn't get the card until early 2016-- have any of those folks gotten the credit this year?

Because I still haven't gotten my 100,000 point bonus yet and hit my spend about ten days ago. Maybe I'm being naively optimistic, but I think it's an internal thing on their end that is going to get fixed.

Can we all just remember the fear and panic that people had when they thought that the PGGM and AA gift cards didn't work with the AMEX plat card? Turned out to just be a temporary issue.

Let's all calm down until we have some real facts about legitimate charges. We have the whole rest of the year to sort this issue out. Hopefully this is nothing more than a temporary problem but please for the love of god don't call customer service about paying taxes or PGGM charges that aren't working! The only thing that will accomplish is to guarantee a quick demise of this card's unexpected benefits.

I just received my 100,000 points. I hit my $5,000 spend threshold only about 4 days ago! Logged into CNBRewards and saw the 100,000 points even though my next statement hasn't hit yet.

I also tried the SW award taxes/fees - still have not received any airline fee credit so far... it's been about 2.5 weeks now. I did not have any airline fee credits in 2015 because I just got the card this year. I'll report back if I ever get the credit for my SW award taxes/fees.

This will be the most important datapoint.

I received my 100k points.
I passed the 5000 threshold on 1/10/2016
I passed the $5250 threshold on 1/14/2016

Anyways,

I only received credit on my Wifes main account in 2015 for her $250 AA gift card. I did a PGGM on the AU but I didnt do it right because I booked the Delta flight using Delta Comfort and then was told that I needed to book regular main cabin and then go into "my trips" to upgrade to Delta Comfort. The weird thing is that when I tried that last year, there was no option to upgrade to Delta Comfort. It allowed me to choose my own seat but when I tried that and tried clicking on Delta Comfort, it said I didnt qualify for that.

If Someone can show me how to do PGGM on Delta, I can try it for my AU card that didnt get credit in 2015 and see if it posts in 2016.
