Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html

It doesn't make sense to take that much time to reimburse a legit expense. Hopefully someone with legit expense can call cnb and get a clear answer.

Completely speculating, but I wouldn't be shocked if they're deliberately waiting until 30 days have passed from when all of the annual fees posted for everyone who applied during the 100k bonus offer at the end of 2015 before they apply the 2017 credits.

You might be right. CNB had a promo for 10K points after spending $5K before 1/15/17 (or similar). I think they said they wouldn't award the points until 2 months after that date. I took this as a way to prevent a large number of people who applied Oct/Nov 2015 from getting those points and then cancelling.

Don't be too reassured. In 2015 when I got the card I had some Delta fee's ie change that I charged and they flat out refused to pay them. They said Delta coded them wrong and they would not budge. So in 2016 I did the AA gift cards like most others that did work.

I am also working with the PVT banker on the 10k points from spend. This bank sure is a joke and the way they run things sure does not make me want to put my money with them!

Why would you do that when gift cards are not supposed to be reimbursed?

Still nothing as of now on my 1/17/2017 legit expense. I had one legit jetblue luggage fee charged on 12/16/2016 and credit posted on 12/22/2016. But to inquire on the legit expense not being reimbursed, I also had experience last year and they told me to wait till 2 months after the charge to query because that's what t&c says.

Thanks for sharing your info. But we never waited for 2 months in the past to see the credit in our account. It doesn't look good this time....

I paid the $400 AF in November because I expected to get $250 x2 in January. Sigh.

Don't feel bad. Think about it from CNB's perspective. They wouldn't want people to get the credit then not pay the annual fee. I think someone said before that this may be a corporate decision to delay payout until all annual fees from December/January are paid and settled, which actually makes sense.

So, still holding on to hope here.

Can I know where I can find this ANNUAL FEE REFUND terms?

My Annual Fee was posted on 12/30/2016, and the statement on which the AF was posted is due Feb 6th. Since my statement is e-statement, does that mean I should have the 30 days from the day when the last statement closed to request cancellation of the card in order to get the credit?

Thanks.

Ok another update about the AA eGC rebate.

History:
I bought 4 $250 AA eGC on Jan 3rd.

I got $50 credit on each account on the 6th.. The rest of the story is mentioned in the above posts..

Update:
I got $250 credit on each account on the 24th.. So I got a total of $1200 in travel rebate rather than $1000. No complaints here now...

Looks like all of my credits just posted. The date is listed as the 24th but they weren't there the morning of the 26th and they showed up before the evening of the 26th. The charges were between January 4th and January 11th.

Don't rush to cancel the card yet!
