Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.
The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

This is a good one. You get 3x 1.3 = 3.9% on all travel, gas, dine and grocery besides all the perks. It is not as good as Chase CSR or AmEx Plat. But it is a Visa Infinite.

correct but not sure why this would terrify you. You can easily review posted transactions online and make payment arrangements. As indicated above autopay setup requires a banner but can be arranged over the phone.

I actually prefer it to all overly slicked up ones the mega banks have.
Someone who might really prefer a fancy mobile app probably should not use CNB though.
I doubt they will ever be 'awesome' in that dimension.

I've learned that 3x on travel is very tricky. You have to book directly with the airline/hotel, etc. Going through sites like Expedia/Orbitz/Booking categorize as travel agency, and earn 1x. Sucks when those sites have lower prices and sales. The dining/grocery/gas categories are still good, but not giving 3x points for 3rd party travel sites diminishes this card a bit.

You have not waited long enough. As has been discussed in this thread ad-nauseum, it takes over a week at minimum and sometimes a billing cycle. Please read to avoid repeating questions that have been answered so many times before.

Has anyone used this card overseas in terms of unmanned parking garages and gas stations that require chip and pin? Will this card work like a Barclays in terms of the chip and signature being primary, but the chip and pin being secondary?
