You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.
The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

I had the same problem. I applied a week or so before March 31st(when the bonus was set to expire). When I didn't get my bonus, I called in and they told me their records showed I had been approved after(???) the bonus expiration. Anyway, they said they would contact my banker to look into it. I never heard back, but a week later the bonus magically showed up online. It's not in the bonus history, but I have the points.

Yes they changed a month or two ago. The terms state the rewards can change at any time. Too bad though, I was hoping to cash out. Now the best strategy is to use for flights at ~1.5cpp.

Seems they increased visa gift card price again. Now it is 130k for $1000.
Maybe they noticed they lose money on this product but didn't figure out the real problem. I feel they may cut other benefits by year end.

I added my son as an AU earlier this year since he was going to be traveling in Europe and didn't have a card that skipped the international charge fee. In my case I did it all via phone and email with the person that I typically deal with at CNB. I called in to make the original request, gave the basic details and then sent some additional details via email.

The branch location map shows a location in downtown Minneapolis. This may be the first time I have actually clicked on the link to check locations, so I am not sure if that is new or not.
Has anyone used that location to get the card? Of all the locations, I actually make it to Minneapolis reasonably frequently and could carve out some time to do an application in-branch.
