Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.

For some reason, seat upgrades over $75-80 don't get credited. I've found this to be true for JB as well as award fees (foreign destinations) on SWA.

Look at the post just a few up, post date to post date was 5 days. I just got a credit myself where post date to post date was 6 days.

Do you mean that rebate is posted at once and you can't see the rebate transaction before post? because you can see the charge transaction date from authorization list, so I wonder if it's different for rebate and you only see it when it gets posted, not transaction authorization. Thx bud!

Your transaction was on 4/15 and posted on 4/17 - it hasn't been even four business days. As others have said, be patient :-)

It's always worth remembering that when it comes to gaming credit-cards benefits we have to accept that sometimes we may lose every now & then.

With that said, I hope it works for you. And if it doesn't end up posting for whatever reason, DON'T go around calling CNB to get a rebate for something that quite obviously falls outside the original rebate intent, i.e. purchases of GCs. To do so would be quite counter-productive for us all in the long-run

Business Version 100K Points

Is there a FT thread for CNB Business 100K points offer expiring 4/30/17? I searched, but can't seem to find. I am looking for DP if CNB reports business cards to personal credit bureaus. TIA.

I understand where are you coming from and already read your original comment before editing too. Well...my case is different. I didn't try something new not posted her. I tried the $250 eGF from AA website, and this has been rebated to many recent posters even with 3-4 $250 in a row. That's why I wonder why it's not an auto system. It would be crazy if it's a human-controlled system or there is a glitch, but rebating for some customers in 2 days, others in 5 days or not at all (like my case so far) sounds weird and chaotic.

When y'all do the SW addons/taxes (under $70), do you do a bunch in a row to hit the $250 quickly or you do one, wait days and do another? Want to try this but don't want to keep paying the $70, cancelling and then redoing.

Also anyone have any issues with SW or JB for cancelling so many flights so close together?

If you look back towards the beginning of the year you'll see that at one point it was several WEEKS that some people were waiting for rebates that were delayed for no apparent reason. Sometimes this happens. Worse comes to worse you bought a $250 egift card and won't get a rebate.
The terms clearly state that gift cards should NOT count (Page 57) towards the $250 so the only glitch here is that people are actually getting a rebate for gift cards at all. Calling CNB will only alert them of this glitch and remove any possibility of others getting the rebate. It will not help you or anyone else get a rebate that you were never entitled to get.

I really don't understand why this fact has to be explained over and over again to people in this thread. Don't get mad at CNB for not allowing you to get around their rules for a generous $250 rebate. If one method doesn't work for you then try another. After all, there are always legitimate ways of spending the $250.

I always wait a few days. Not sure if that's required but just the way I've been doing it.

Don't ruin it for everyone out of greed. And stop trying to use mental gymnastics to convince yourself that these are done manually and that they actually approve $250 GC transactions

I opened the card in March with the offer of 70,000 points after $5,000 spending. Any one can provide DPs to answer the following questions:
1) Will the spending from the authorized users be counted towards the $5,000 spending requirement?
2) Will the reimbursed travel expenses (i.e. UA GR, AA GC), from both primary user and authorized users, still be counted as $5,000 spending requirement?

Does WN PGGM still work? I used to use DL PGGM on my Amex Plat but I think that just died. Wondering if WN will work both for this and the Plat.

According to other posters, yes if you stay below $70-80.
