Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (Cnb.com/creditcardonline).
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).

It is not Infinite card, but it does have the $250 travel credit. Probably no AF either....
Any update on this? I tried contacting my relationship banker but she is useless as usual. My first relationship banker was so great but since he left and assigned to me a new one a year ago...she barely responds after 5 or 6 emails. So sick of her

The Wikipost says: Current welcome offer is 50,000 Crystal points with $5,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee waived. (as of 4/1/2019) If that's correct the person who edited the entry could explain. If it's incorrect (or changed) someone should update.

In the financial world, 'relationship' = 'revenue'

If your banker is not responsive, its most likely because you are not generating money for her bank (or her by extension)

CNB bankers view these cards as loss leaders to open up deeper banking relationships.

I think when people understand that, they are less likely to be disappointed.

I just applied (and was approved) at the DC Branch last week. Very easy--I walked in, they asked how I heard about the card, and then explained that they get lots of folks who travel in specifically to apply.

Bring paystubs/W-2s/taxes; I needed them at this office.

You shouldn't have any problems with inquiries. I have a million or more from all the Citi mailers I've been getting but was approved with no problems.

If you get the opportunity, would you apply for the 2nd (same) card? Say your SO apply for it? The welcome bonus is good. But I'm not sure if it is a good idea to add the same AUs on both cards....

Maybe a stupid question on the thread:
I am considering to apply the card when the next 75k (or higher) welcome bonus happens. Can I still get bonus given I am already an AU of my parent? Can I be the primary cardholder of CNB Crystal and an AU of my parent at the same time?

I plan to add 3 AU to my primary account. I read that for priority pass, they issue 2 accounts. One of them can be AU.
Can this AU, who has priority pass account, bring 2 guests for free Or does that apply only for primary card holder?

When I applied for mine, I was recommended against adding my wife to AU because itís disqualify my wife from getting signup bonus.

PS
Applying for the card was harder than mortgage due to asset requirement. How was others experience? Is it branch/banker variable? BTW I applied at Solana Beach, CA location. In light of my application experience, I decided to add my wife to AU rather than applying in her name later.

For those that keep saying the bank will close your credit card account if you donít have other business with them, or that YMMV on the benefits and perks. Do you have any actual first hand experience with that or is it all anecdotal?

the specific terms and benefits for the card are published to the public so they need to follow that. They canít just not honor a benefit if they donít feel like it. Now if you are saying they are more inclined to go above and beyond if you have other business with them thatís a different story.

All fake news....put that AA eGF aside, the card has $400 annual fee which is more expensive compared to other primary travel cards that offer actual travel reimbursement with cheaper AFs...
