***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.

About to go in branch and apply. Do I just state my income or household? I am not putting my wife as co-applicant, but i'll add her as AU once approved.

Go with household unless you're making well north of $100k on your own. As long as you file taxes jointly it's perfectly expected and allowed.

Good luck.

it is legally allowed to put in household income. As long as that income is "available" to you. In other words, If you file joint tax returns, you should be able to report your whole household income on a CC application. If they want "proof" just give them your 1040 (or any other applicable tax document) and not your pay stub.

Having said that I am not a tax accountant so take my advise as it is: "you read it on the internet"

Thanks for the advice.. I was there to apply and they want copies of my last 2 pay stubs, w2 and bank statement. Should I have them change income to include my wife's? Since they want the paystubs, i am assuming they'd know its a household income.

What information from AU would the bank ask for when you want to add additional AU?

I finally receive my card after 3 weeks of waiting. However when I contact the banker for adding AU, she wants tons of AU information even more than mine! For example the AU's ID #, issue date, exp date, place of birth, mother's maiden name... This sounds kind of weird to me.

Data point:

Applied for this card last six days ago (Friday). Experian pulled two days ago, approved today. Single, 120k stated income, no debt. 11 inquiries in past 12 months, and 2 new personal cards in 6 months (the rest were business). They really don't seem to be terribly new account/inquiry sensitive. My banker called me to tell of the approval and mentioned that my priority pass will come in the welcome packet, so that should be no problem.

Does anyone have experience with bank account funding on this card?

Priority Pass Restaurants

With the CNB Infinite, is there a limit to how many $28 guest credits I can use at the PP restaurants?

Thanks!

Is this still the case? I crossed $5k spend on my new card on 10/9 (post date), and no bonus has posted yet.

I crossed the 5k limit even before that. One thing I noticed is that they load the points at the end of the month regardless of your statement date. My first batch of points got loaded to my account even before the monthly statement hit. I am patiently waiting until the end of month to get the bonus points

Anyone know if they have an age requirement for AUs or what is the youngest AU you've added?

It IS 15. The minimum AU age is on the application itself.

I'm not sure if that's verifiable with just the SSN the application also asks for, but why chance it on a card with such a great ROI?
