Current welcome offer is 50,000 30,000 Crystal points with $5,000 $3,000 spending in the first 90 days. First annual fee not waived. (as of telephone call with bank employee 8/7/2019)

Past bonuses were:

***** #1502 - signup bonus 1/16/18 BUT ANNUAL FEE NOT WAIVED ******

100,000 points after spending $5,000 in first three months. Offer expires 30 December 2015. EXPIRED

A 70,000 points offer was offered back in March 2017 and expired March 31st, 2017. EXPIRED

The requirements for the application process varies from bank to bank based on various online data points collected from FlyerTalk, Doctor of Credit, etc.

Some banks require that you go into a branch and apply personally. Other banks want you to have another account open for 90 days before you can get this card. Some banks (if you already have a relationship with them) let you apply via mail. Sometimes you have to be a resident of the state they operate in, while some were able to get the card without living in those states. It is very much YMMV. You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.

The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

Register your card for online access (cno.cnb.com). This changed on Sept 19 2019.
Register separately for the award page (www.cnbrewards.com).
Register for Visa Infinite info and access at https://myvisainfinite.com/cnb/en_us/home.html
Click "my info" to see details on points awarded.
Best* redemption found to date is $1,000 prepaid visa for 105K pts. It's now 125K pts for a $1,000 prepaid visa. Link to catalog

I hope they didn't start to kill this down already. There was a lot of attention on this card when the bonus increased to 75k. Many articles covered the AA credit in plain sight which made me a bit furious. What frustrates me a bit more is when these blogs talk about cards they do own that also offer incidental credits (say Amex Plat) they just say "it's easy to claim the credit" or "there are other ways to claim the credit". When they wrote about this card they put it out there in plain sight.

Having said that, you bought 3 on the same day which probably tripped some alarms on their side. It's been a month since you bought it so I wouldn't expect the credit anymore.

I have mentioned like 3 times now, stop bleeding them so quickly that they die. If you do one at a time, split the credit over couple of statements, put some purchases here and there, then you probably get better luck.

you went all-out and bought three in one-day. It's been nearly a month so it is pretty much a given you aren't going to get the credit. Live and learn. next year pace yourself

Does AU travel credit usually take longer to post? Made some charges on 11/2 (posted (11/5) on main card and AU card. Main card credited within a couple days, AU card isn't seeing any credit more than 2 weeks later.

Maybe they are battening down the hatches and simply NOT giving out credits on AU cards going forward.

I always thought it was insane that offered this and doubt it was ever truly intended from product design/launch, despite what some bankers might have verbally said.

CNB is presumably its a small enough issuer, that they can go through and identify abusive conduct.

At $250/pop its worth having someone eyeball a spreadsheet of this stuff and make it be a manually approved credit.

When did you purchase it using your primary card?

Or, maybe they just stop giving credits for AA-eGC.

I just cancelled my Chase Sapphire Reserve card, which had primary car rental insurance. That was my go-to card for rentals. Does the CNB Crystal Visa Infinite also have primary car rental insurance?

Applied in-branch in Minneapolis last Thursday, banker informed me of approval on Monday, awaiting fulfillment after the holiday (likely next week). They cared about my paystubs and liquid assets, but not other assets nor any income/assets of AUs. Hard pull on Experian.

Has anyone gotten AA points purchase to trigger the reimbursement? AA’s the only the airline to process points purchases directly and presumably it shows up as a misc. fee.

I still didn't get credit for my first $250 gift card. But I bought another $50 AA gift card with my AU card and received the credit pretty quick: purchase date 11/15/2018 and rebate is posted on 11/21/2018.
