You will need proof of income (W2, check stubs, etc). The only states City National Bank operates in are: NY, DE (only trust office, no go), DC, GA, TN, MN, NV & CA. The bank is looking for high net worth individuals, but that's not exactly consistent either.
The card has no foreign transactions fees and is fee-free the first year, then $400 annually.

I booked a hotel today through the travel portal, came out to roughly 1.5cpp vs. the AAA rate. Nice surprise considering I was expecting 1.25ish.
On a side note, I had some fraudulent charges on my card, they cancelled it and sent me a new one, when doing so it wipes out your rewards portal login. You have to create a new one with the new card info and then request them to migrate your points over. They did it very quick, but it was super annoying.

I had the same problem. I applied a week or so before March 31st(when the bonus was set to expire). When I didn't get my bonus, I called in and they told me their records showed I had been approved after(???) the bonus expiration. Anyway, they said they would contact my banker to look into it. I never heard back, but a week later the bonus magically showed up online. It's not in the bonus history, but I have the points.

$100 AA gift card purchased on 8/14 was not been credited and does not look like it will be.
Note that was was for my third AU (had previously maxed out myself and the other 2 AUs the month before, all AA GC)
Not sure if this is an issue with AA gc, or with AUs, would love to see other data points.

finally got my 70k sign up bonus points. opened the account back in 4/2017. Reached purchase requirement within 3 weeks. Called reward departments 5 times without any help. Finally had my banker call his credit card department guy and was finally given the 70k sign up bonus.
