If you add both AU's (have to add 2 or more), and make the $12k min spend you get 93,000 Virgin Atlantic miles as stated above.
You could transfer 90k miles into 135k Hilton HHonors. Depending on what category Hiltons you're looking at redeeming at, this could be a super lucrative offer for the $90 annual fee.
The Delta chart also only charges 45k miles r/t to South America, so you could score 2 free economy flights to Brazil, Argentina, or Chile. Much less than most airlines would charge. - if you can find availability on Delta

I've always read this card is churnable. If so, I'd rather churn the regular 50K offer after a few months and have a total spend requirement of $4k rather than $15K for the same amount of miles. MS is wearing me out and I'm getting sick of the stress from methods dying/deteriorating every few weeks. Heh.
Gary says you don't even have to close the existing card b4 reapplying. Anyone have any experience to add?

I mean it's a 6 month minimum spend so you only have to spend $2k a month to hit the $12k. Pretty easy IMO.

I was thinking of using my USB Buxx, but I read on that thread that BoA does not give miles for buxx, and it does not count for minimum spend, unlike Citi cards. Is that not correct? Any recent experience with USB Buxx?

Check the appropriate thread in the MS forum. And that information is false.

It's better than Citi. Most of Citi's cards can't be churned until ~18 months, while it seems BOA can be churned as soon as 3 months without closing the previous card.

I got a second card four months after opening my first. I hadn't cancelled the first one. Got the bonus again.
VS miles are pretty terrible to use for partner airlines...
