PNC Flex Visa?????

Just got a offer in the mail for $750 spend and 50k points... Just curious how much the 50k points is worth.?

Is this card worth applying for.?

No

In short, no. You get 4 points for every dolar you spend on the card. That's the upside. PNC has a mall where you redeem your points for gift cards and merchandise. I like KFC. For 3500 points I received a $5.00 gift certificate. At that rate a point is one-seventh of a cent. Of course the fact you get 4 points for each dollar spent makes each point worth four sevenths or slightly more than half a cent. They have almost no travel benefits either. If this card had an annual fee, I would have dumped it long ago.

It's funny, I also looked into this program just last week, cuz I was curious of the value as well. Unfortunately you can see for yourself here, that the redemption value is just as horid, if not worse, than what eajusa described.

After seeing that, I wanted the 5 minutes of my life back that I wasted looking up this info.

Save the return envelope, and send it back with some recycling material. Gotta support USPS first-class mail service!

Their CashBuilder is really their only good card. If you can spend a lot or get their highest tier account, you get 1.75% cashback.

I applied for CashBuilder but was declined due to my residence. Called and was told that PNC doesn't market in NYC even though they maintain a branch on Madison.
