What are the best credit card and checking account combinations ? I’ve head that with a chase freedom and chase checking account, you can earn 10% annual bonus at the end of the year. Are there any other good credit card combinations where the checking account can give some benefit to your spending ?

As always, it depends on your situation. There's some benefit to be had in Citi bank/credit combinations if you have a mortgage or student loans funded by Citi.

Used to be that citi waived annual fees on Citi AA Cards for Citigold checking accounts. That is no longer for new accounts, though many of us are grandfathered. Would he nice if citi came up with something similar again in the future.

I believe BofA has a similar program where you get a 10% bonus on their cash back credit cards with a linked checking account.

Chase sapphire preferred/SPg Amex and Charles Schwab checking

No mutual benefits but nothing beats free checking with no ATM or forex fees with Schwab.. Maybe they will get their own cc again.
