Credit utilization question
 

Is it true that a paid off CC balance still reflects a 10% utilization for the credit bureau/FICO?

I read that months back on a coupon blog site that sponsored a debt/personal finance forum.

I recently signed up with Credit Sesame and if I am not mistaken, that's what I saw when I tried to interpret one of their charts matched to my credit card usage.

This question is a prelude to my plan to use an inbound new AMEX card I should not have applied for. Thought I was getting a hefty bonus. :td:
