Using CC on cash-only hotel?
 

I have a credit card that allows me to redeem my points on travel purchases (hotel, rental car, etc). However, I am staying at a small boutique hotel that does not take credit cards. They only take cash.

Is there a way I can somehow use my card on a travel related purchase, while at the same time generating the cash to pay the hotel? That way, I can still redeem my points for the hotel stay?

Money is fungible. It makes no difference whether you redeem your credit card points to offset a hotel charge or another charge.
