Help me fly internationally please :)

I have a couple Chase SW CCs (30k credit line) which I applied for about 6 months ago (Just got the discover IT). I have around a 760 on credit karma. I can spend about $500 a month.
I have never used any other CC promotions.

Which CCs can I get so I can fly internationally for free or low cost (I am thinking I need 100k points)?

Thank you so much. Your time is appreciated :)

Welcome to FT!

If you are not able to charge more than $500/month, you will have a hard time meeting the spend requirements for some of the more lucrative credit-card sign-up bonuses. Check the FT Credit Cards forum for information concerning current offers.

I had a feeling that would be a problem. I can spend $1000/month sometimes.

Welcome to FT! You need to "manufacture" some spending them. :) It's not difficult. See this thread and start reading: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/manuf...-spending-719/ It's an eye opener.

If you have an international destination in mind, please specify. Where do you fly out from?

LAX -> Dubai

My standards for a good deal are pretty low btw. Thank you!

You might want to spend some time reading. There are plenty of threads (or blogs, seems they may be more your speed) covering the cards, their partners, etc. You can't expect us to do all the leg work to get you a trip worth thousands of dollars, if not tens of thousands of dollars. Doing some research is not unreasonable.

I got lost with all these threads. I was hoping for just getting referred to some links to threads that could help someone in my position out.
Thank you :)

do some research. figure out which airline alliance has the best flight options for lax -> dubai. then come back and ask for help on choosing the appropriate credit card to best earn miles.

Helpmeflyplease- cute name. Don't be intimidated some flyertalkers can come across as a little harsh. Just stick around awhile, you'll get the hang of things!
