Moving CL then canceling advice
 

So I have 5 Chase credit cards and want to cancel one of them, should I ask for them to move 95% of the CL to another card and then in a week or so cancel that card?

Same thing for Barclays.. I have one card I want to cancel but want the CL moved first.

I just sent them a secure message asking to close a credit card and move the credit to another card. No need to wait a week. Unless you're interested in calling to ask for a retention bonus.
