Combine Barclays CL

I have an NFL card and a USAirways card. Got the NFL card in October '12 and USAirways card in November '12. I "sock-drawered" the NFL card immediately after getting the bonus. Did the same with the USAirways card and eventually got the spend $750/month x3 to get 15k miles. Finished that and have continued some add'l manufactured spend on the card. I applied for a 2nd USAirways in March (2nd month of the 15k bonus period), but was denied and told need to show a longer history. Have a few questions...

1) Can I combine my NFL card and USAirways card CL (move NFL to USAirways) via an online message to Barclays? Or will I have to call in?

2) How long do you think I should wait before trying Barclays again? I'm thinking Sept (6 months since denial in March) with continued manufactured spending on the card up until then. But Sept seems like a long time to wait! Plus I'd REALLY love to get one more USAirways bonus in before it's kaput.

Thanks for your thoughts!

1. Not sure. I'd be interested in doing this as well since I did basically what you did but got both cards in Feb. These were my first Barclays cards as well.

2. From my limited experience, not enough history from a new account usually means ~6 months.

I was unable to combine the limit on my NFL card to my Sallie Mae card a few weeks ago. I have had both cards for close to a year now. The rep said that she did not have the ability to complete my request.
