Yikes. So would it be wise to find the one Citi AA card product that I want to go with and once the bonus miles are awarded, then cancel the original card? So long as I have one open AA earning card I'm fine with doing this; I just want to earn back the miles I just spent on a one-way trans-Atlantic redemption last month. Also, does this affect the Barclay's products as well? Would I be eligible for one new Citi and a Barclay's, each with an AA bonus, or just one-or-the-other?

After reading through many threads and posts, I figure with the Marriott Starwood changes this is what I'll do going forward - please chime in if anyone has any better ideas....
Main spending cards for personal and business have always been the AMEX Starwood personal and business, for over 20 and 10 years respectively.
Will keep Starwood personal just for the free night and for nostalgia. Thinking of cancelling the Starwood business (don't see a reason to keep it)
Thinking of getting AMEX Starwood Luxury and hitting 75K spend to get platinum status for the year and so I can effectively use my stash of starwood points to get upgrades, etc.
Will apply for new Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Ink Business Unlimited and put all of my spending on these cards.
Already have a decent stash of Starwood points but no UR points, so will start to use those UR points to expand hotel options when we travel.
Thoughts?

Thanks for the suggestion will look into the Ritz card. At a quick glance, looks like there is a bonus free nights offer for Ritz and not for AMEX (except the 1 night on anniversary)....but I think i'd be more likely to spend the $300 credit of AMEX at Marriott/Starwood than the $300 airline credit via the Ritz card.
Any other differences? I guess either one would be the only way I could get Platinum via 75K spend

Best Card Bonus for Large Purchase
I am getting married next month and am planning to have a lot of short term spending in support of this. I want to put this spending on a new card that has a high-spending bonus.
I currently have a Chase Sapphire Reserve which I updated from a Sapphire Preferred almost two years ago. I have been very happy with it, but getting that bonus is not possible. The base option would be to just put the ~$30k on that and be done with it.
Alternatively, I am currently looking at the British Airways branded card with the 100k bonus after $20k spend. We just booked the return flight on CX in J with Avios, so they are good for that. What avios are not good for is anything on BA with their abhorrent carrier fees for reward flights. The BA card has a quasi-companion pass for reward flights if you spend $30k, but again you need to pay their ridiculous fees regardless. On a sample economy flight that would save me $300, ~$1,200 on business to LHR from the east coast.
Another option would be the SWA card (I fly WN a ton), or the AAdvantage card (I never fly AA if I can avoid it, but they have good partner redemption).
Thoughts on these or other possibilities? Thanks!

Best CC signup for taxes
Need to clean up a mess that a disabled family member left with federal taxes. I already have a CSR/TYP/INK card which other CC would be good for a $50K tax bill? I was thinking the BA or Aer Lingus card. Any other cards I'm missing here? Thoughts from everyone are most helpful!!
