Annual Spending
I put all my spending on my credit cards - even the $2.00 coffee I buy at Dunkin Donuts. All of my annual spending totals around $75-$85K. I don't pay for my mortgage, car payment or anything like that on my cards. For those of you who have high annual spend - what are you putting on the cards?

Annual Spending
Is the point of the post to tell everyone that you spend 85k a year? Sure seems like it. Enjoy your spending!

I put my spend on various cards depending on what I'm spending on to get the most out points/miles out of them. I probably spend a little less than $70K a year but have put my spending on the following cards: Chase Marriott Premier, Chase Freedom, Chase Sapphire Preferred, AMEX Gold, AMEX HHonors, Citi Forward & DiscoverIt. I know others have focused spending on one single card to hit a high spending limit for an extra ton of points/miles.

(Agreed, the question could just as easily been asked without any numbers.) |
I'm more interested in learning about your annual income.

Zeusmt's friend will send PM to everyone who posts here about the great time shares available to those with incomes $xxxxxx to $yyyyyy.
With that in mind I spend $3000-$3500 annually on my Banruptcy Plus MasterCard- provided the judge approves. |

$85k is weak. If he's bragging about that, he's a joke... |

I highly doubt he was bragging about $85k annual spend.

I think FT runs the gamut. You have some people making $30k, doing sign ups only, constantly sweating making the minimum spend. You have some people doing more than your annual spend, per card, per month and up, and a bunch in between the two. I doubt highly anyone is going to be willing to tell you what their annual spend is, because the big players drop zeros and the little players pick em up and add em.

My annual spend on credit cards is... a lot more than I actually spend.
:) But yes, I put pretty much everything on my credit card, except the entry fees at the bridge club. (But at national tournaments I can even plasticize those.) I remember as recently as 2-3 years ago, getting my parents a card on one of my accounts to make a minimum spend on the only card I got a significant number of rewards on. That was before I started to rumble in the jungle. Seems so ancient. |
