Universe/Universal Card?

For the old timers out there wasn't there a no-fee card called the Universe card? I seem to recall I had one a long time ago. If anyone remembers it do you know if it is the same as AT&T's universal card?

Also if it still exists I wonder if I get it would it trace my credit history back to when I first received it and thus greatly increase my average age of accounts.

Thanks.
Rich

Timeframe?

Are you perhaps thinking of the The Everything Card, from the late 1960's?

The original AT&T Universal card dates only from 1990.

I remember the AT&T Universal Card. No annual fees for life! Everyone I knew had one.

Can't remember what it finally morphed into over the years. For some reason, I think it merged into a Chase product.

Thanks. Even though I'm feel old I certainly didn't have a credit card before the 80s after I made it through school.

At least my memory wasn't completely wrong :)
