how to get official delay reports from airlines

Hi there,
My credit card informed me it would cover flight cancellation for necessary purchases but they require official delay reports from airlines.

Anybody know how to get around this or how to obtain these? Calling, emailing is of no use...

Might depend on the airline. AA has a link to a form to request this under "Contact AA."
