You give me hope.

Good luck! 3 TU inquiries, 11-12 apps/new cards in the last 6 months, low 700s FICO with an AAoA at maybe 6 months because of all the new apps, and the CSR barely approved me back in January for the US Air card. If I can get it, anybody can.

What the.
That's my exact profile.
But my FICO is higher, 792. :td:

Screw you Barclay.
Income probably had to do with it. (Student)

That's probably the only thing that held you back because there's no way I would've been approved and not you.

Wow, super shocked. I got antsy and just wanted to go for it figuring a HP on TU wouldn't kill me if I didn't get it and much to my surprise I was instantly approved! Low CL at $3k, but more than enough for me. Thanks to everybody for the help!

Lucky you! ^
I will still wait since I don't want to be disappointed again and I have a cruise payment in September so looking to apply in July.

This card still isn't worth it until they have EMV though. I'll get it next year when my CSP AF is due.

What is EMV?

Not worth it? $450 back on a cruise payment and only 3k in 3 mos?

It's worth it to me.^. husband already has it and has applied already $475

For churning, which barclays hates. You won't be able to churn this card forever.

I'm looking at switching to this card long term, but I need the Chip & PIN for that, at the very least Chip & Signature.

The thread has been split because Barclays has refreshed the Arrival program and renamed the paid card Arrival+. A copy of the Wikipost has been transferred to the new thread.
