US Bank Reconsideration Line: 800-947-1444
Use this phone number to check your application status as well. US Bank does not send you an approval/denial email. Many data points show 8-10 business days for decision is normal. Add another 2-3 weeks after that to receive physical card.

U.S. Bank Fraud Department - 800-260-8469. This is the number to call if your card starts getting declined when you try to make a purchase.

Why is the balance due on my business card always shown as $0?
There are TWO account numbers linked to your business card: The card itself, which shows up in the same website account as any personal cards you may have. This will always show a $0 balance due.

There is a SECOND account - labeled the "Central Bill Account" - with its own account number. You must set up a separate website account with its own username and password to access the Central Bill Account. This is the account that will actually show the balance due and let you schedule a payment. Somewhere in the paperwork you received with the card or the first paper invoice, you should be able to find the Central Bill Account's number.

Setting up separate website account for business card:

These are the instructions that US Bank emailed me:

To enroll in Online Banking for your U.S. Bank Business account, start by going to usbank.com. You do not need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) in order to enroll.

Please follow these instructions to enroll in Online Banking to view or pay your account:

1. Click on the Enroll Now link on the right side of the screen.
2. Select the Business Accounts option.
3. View the Terms and Conditions and then select Enroll Now.
4. Select I do not have a U.S. Bank small business checking or savings account.
5. Select I am an authorized officer of a U.S. Bank Business Credit Card.
6. Complete Step 2 of 2.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will be able to view your business account in its entirety. When you are making a payment you will need to select the Accounts Payable account number.

Until the end of May 2015: "Bonus Award Night - Redeem Gold Points for two or more consecutive Award Nights and the last night is free. Exclusively for cardmembers.

From June 1 2015: free night after $10,000 spend in a year plus payment of annual fee. Note: can only be used in the U.S.

"New Account Bonus is not available to applicants who have had this Card or another Club Carlson credit card product within the last 12 months."

Forex fee is 3%

Angry I don't feel as if I've been upgraded.... US Bank marketing deception

So the Club Carlson / Radisson Rewards cards are dead....and here's the latest email I've gotten from US Bank about the substitute card. It's not an upgrade at all.

I rather liked the Radisson cards.

US Banks' contract with Radisson ended. Have you cancelled the replacement card?

It's not U.S. Bank's fault, but it still isn't an upgrade. Converting a specific hotel rewards card with specific benefits into a generic cash-back-masquerading-as-travel-rewards card is a customer-hostile decision. It says, "You are a number to us, and we think you're too stupid to realize what we just did." I'm not saying they had a better option, but all of their marketing is just putting lipstick on a pig.

A more customer-friendly change would have been to leave the US Bank Radisson cards alone until the Radisson-Choice merger completes and then sell these accounts to Barclays to be converted to Choice Privileges credit cards (assuming Radisson Rewards Americas is merged into Choice Privileges.)

It seems that US Bank is out of the affinity business. My remaining US Bank card, REI, is being converted to a Capital One REI card next month.

Ya, kind of like the post UA / CO merger: "There will be changes, and we thing you are going to like them."

NOT!

I will be cancelling the Go. Useless to me. Just haven't got around to it.

The 3x Cash if I can take advantage of the software credit....I'll keep it. We'll see....

Can we convert the Go card(useless to me) to Cash plus card? I never had the Cash Plus card and the 5% rotating categories will be really useful.

Update: Chatted with support and they changed the account to Cash+ Visa signature, account number will change.

A new card #. Is that treated like a new account opening then on one's credit report?

It shouldn't, it should be backdated to the original card's opening date on the credit report.

That's what should happen at every bank when you change account numbers on an existing card account.

The problem is that the Radisson Americas purchase by Choice Hotels (a) had not been announced yet when US Bank ended its contract with Radisson cards, and (b) hasn't been approved by regulators yet, so it's not yet a certainty.

I'm pretty sure that a bank is legally not allowed to keep things going on a card for which their contract has ended.

In any case, them not doing that means that you can get a signup bonus on a Choice Hotels card from Barclays if you don't already have one. You wouldn't qualify for that if they had been able to convert it.

Radisson halved the value of points with the new reward scheme from .4 to .2 cpp. Like others I immediately transferred all my points to Radisson Americas while the transfer still works. If they are converted to Choice points 1:1 no problem as they are worth twice as much (1ccp.). But now I see there's still a 50% bonus for transfers to United still good until Oct 31 on Radisson Americas. (Radisson has a note on the page begging people not to transfer now). I suspect a lot of people are assuming Radisson Americas will devalue soon as Radisson did and if a Choice program evolves, it won't be 1:1.

If your card has been converted to Altitude Go, and you have observations or questions about that card, please post in this thread: US Bank Altitude Go is live.

hmm..interesting. I just used up 90,000 points in Europe for 2 nights - last month. Good redemptions. But I just did a couple of searches and can't seem to find any hotels available on points, doesn't even show the option. Should I move them to the Americas?
