Why is the balance due on my business card always shown as $0?
There are TWO account numbers linked to your business card: The card itself, which shows up in the same website account as any personal cards you may have. This will always show a $0 balance due.
There is a SECOND account - labeled the "Central Bill Account" - with its own account number. You must set up a separate website account with its own username and password to access the Central Bill Account. This is the account that will actually show the balance due and let you schedule a payment. Somewhere in the paperwork you received with the card or the first paper invoice, you should be able to find the Central Bill Account's number.
Setting up separate website account for business card:
These are the instructions that US Bank emailed me:

It is based on spending in the 12 months before the annual fee is assessed, so if you've already spent 10k since your last annual fee, you don't need to spend any more.

Hi all, I will be embarking on a journey to Europe soon and the destination I've chosen has a bunch of Club Carlson properties. I'm wondering how long the bonus from opening the credit card (and having done the initial purchase) takes to post to my Club Carlson account. Thanks!

If you're hotels are down to the final room, and there's award availability for it, I would book it with a refundable rate just to hold, then when your points post, return the room and rebook it with points. This has worked for me a few times in the past. However, I never did it with CC, so make sure you check their refund policy and if that you'll be able to get a refund without penalty due to the fact your trip is close.

I was denied a CC credit card earlier this year. How long should I wait before applying again? Also, are business cards without EIN number any easier to get than personal cards.

So if you didn't get a "worldwide" free night certificate, SM CC, tell them how sad you are about the new award rules, and politely request the cert. Tell them several of your "friends and co-workers" have already gotten one, and you'd like one too.

I know a lot of people got a free night for keeping the USB CC card open. I think a blogger even got the free night a couple months ago and another one after calling to close the card in the past couple weeks. I was given a free night a couple months ago after complaining but when I called to close, I was given nothing, but backed out of canceling. I then called in as my dad, who did NOT get the free night recently, and he got no offer at all. I said I want to close my account and the CSR was ready to proceed. I asked to speak with a retention specialist and he said there was nobody to talk to, and again I said I would think about it. I'm not very familiar with USB-- if I told him to proceed, would he transfer me to a specialist at that point? Or would it actually be closed?

Data Point for Biz card
Signup bonus spend only counts for the primary account holder. Any authorized user spend does not count toward the minimum spending requirements. Learned this the hard way, on hold with a supervisor now to plead my case

US Bank does not award the bonus UNTIL after you have paid the AF precisely to prevent people doing this to them. The bonus will post one statement after you paid the AF - this is the same for both the sign up bonus and the renewal bonus, unless the bank has changed the practice.

My plan was to sell the points to a broker, but a broker won't even bother buying 100k. I honestly don't even know if I will use the points so that is why I am canceling. I should have researched the credit card / value of the points before applying.

Just checked my club carlson rewards account and they posted the points to my account! So maybe they changed...

I hope you dont plan on getting a mileage card and then sell the miles to a broker... lots of sob stories from that front.
Cancelling the card does not affect your ability to use the points.
