As an additional resource for these cards see this thread: Alaska Airlines Visa

PERSONAL CARDS
30k mile offer, $75 AF, $1k spend: https://www.bankofamerica.com/credit...s-credit-card/
+2k miles if done with onboard paper application

30k mile offer with $100 credit and fee for companion ticket waived the first year, $75 AF, $1k spend: https://secure.bankofamerica.com/app...aignid=4020594
link no longer working

30k mile offer with $100 credit, $75 AF, $1k spend: https://secure.bankofamerica.com/app...aignid=4009277
link no longer working

If you are applying for a personal Alaska card, and are not an expert on applying for Alaska cards STOP, don't apply yet.
Instead, read this post. Doing that first may save you a huge amount of wasted time and frustration.

A few people in the Alaska Airlines forum have in the past received personally targeted, single-use links for a 50k offer
when they opt-in to "Partner Offers" in their Mileage Plan account preferences.

=======================================

BUSINESS CARDS

30k mile offer, $75 AF, $1k spend, no foreign transaction fees:
https://www.bankofamerica.com/smallb...-credit-card//

Note: There are two different earning formats for the business card, which you choose when you apply:
  • $50 per company, $25 per card (Business Level Earning Plan)
    • $0 per company, $75 per card (Individual Level Earning Plan)

To avoid billing confusion later, make sure you choose the Individual Level Earning Plan if you are not going to have employee cards under the same account as your account.

Also see the Applying for Business Credit Cards [Consolidated] thread (not-BofA-specific) for general tips on applying for business cards.

Reconsideration # (for personal cards):

1-800-354-0401 (8am-7pm ET Mon-Fri) direct, referring agent from another BofA line called it their "credit department"

1-866-811-4108 from the Alaska Airlines Visa thread post 949

Business card Recon Line:
866-695-6598 (8-7 EST M-F from what I was told)

Biz card status line: 888 663 6262
Biz Card credit analyst line: 877 665 5022, 877 665 5023 (seems to be non-working number)

Check application status online here:
https://www.bankofamerica.com/credit...status-form.go

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Credit Enquiries for Personal cards come from BofA. Enquiries for business cards come from FIA. Credit bureaus usually merge enquiries from the same requester made on the same day. Enquiries from BofA and FIA will not be merged.

When do the initial bonus miles post? You will get the miles after the statement closes for the cycle in which you meet your minimum spend. Usually AS points show up the Sunday evening after your statement closes, but sometimes it takes an additional week.

If there's a statement credit, when does it post?
It seems to be batch-processed. It will post automatically. Can be on the same statement or the next statement. It does not appear to be based on the statement close date.

They did not switch to the 30k bonus on June 1st.

They switched several days earlier (late May) for the personal card, and several days later for the business card.

So did you not get the link from here when you applied? We had 30k links in late May here!

So if you really applied just a day or two before June 1st with a 25k personal offer, you were already applying with an outdated offer.

I used the 25 K link to apply because the $100 credit for 30K link did not show until after I got the 25K card. I kinda jumped the gun a bit because I was worried that $100 statement credit would be gone if I had waited.

Has there ever been a statement credit available for the business card, or has it just been a (sporadic?) feature of the personal card?

Applied personal card over the weekend, got ID verification and pending. Got a call from BoA, it turned out that I entered SS# with a digit wrong, so got approved over the phone.

Logged in the creditKarma, did not see any inquiries (only shows TU and EQ). I know BoA pulls EXPERIAN in my area, how do you guys get credit inquiry monitoring with EXP?

I'd love to know if it the pull is today or over the weekend. if today, I'm going to apply another BoA card for the same inquiry.

freecreditreport.com (does not require credit card to signup anymore).
protectmyid.com (free with most AAA memberships)
credit.com (does not show credit report, but does show month of last inquiry and no of inquiries in the last 6 months).

Applied for the personal and business cards today. I do not have any prior cards with BoA. Received immediate approval for personal (which I applied for first) with a $17K limit. Business though went to "in review." Should I be concerned? I can't call reconsideration until Monday it seems. One thing I did differently on the business app was include my wife's income in the total household income, which I did not do on my personal app. I realize now that was probably stupid not to have the same figure on both. I'm wondering if that's what tripped this off or if it was something different.

I had a question about the platinum and signature. I had applied for the 30k with 1k spend and was approved for the Platinum card. I actually didn't realize (All my fault and I feel so stupid) till I only got 5k Aair miles. When I went to speak with a rep they said that its computer generated and my credit was great (750+). I have always been approved for the Signature and this is the first time I have gotten platinum and bummed that I wasted a hard pull on it.

I read a lot of the posts on here regarding it but I think only one person who had not hit min spend was able to change their platinum to signature and receive the full 25 or 30k miles. I spoke with boa and got my plat converted to a signature (no hard/soft pull) and got 1k miles for my trouble. Have I exhausted all my options? Anything else I can do to get a little bit closer to my 30k?

Called Business recon today and was told I was approved without having to answer any info. I'll take it!

Did you get a letter asking for business documents? I got one and might just let it lapse. I don't exactly have articles of incorporation or the like.

Recon Offer

Just called to cancel the oldest of my 3 AS cards, as I "no longer need to use it to separate expenses, and the AF is about to come due".

CSR was very friendly and understanding. However before she cancelled the card she offered me a bonus of 2,500 miles to keep it open.

I very politely told her 'thanks, but no thanks'.
