If you are applying for a personal Alaska card, and are not an expert on applying for Alaska cards STOP, don't apply yet.
Instead, read this post. Doing that first may save you a huge amount of wasted time and frustration.
A few people in the Alaska Airlines forum have in the past received personally targeted, single-use links for a 50k offer
when they opt-in to "Partner Offers" in their Mileage Plan account preferences.

BUSINESS CARDS

Note: There are two different earning formats for the business card, which you choose when you apply:
To avoid billing confusion later, make sure you choose the Individual Level Earning Plan if you are not going to have employee cards under the same account as your account.

Credit Enquiries for Personal cards come from BofA. Enquiries for business cards come from FIA. Credit bureaus usually merge enquiries from the same requester made on the same day. Enquiries from BofA and FIA will not be merged.
When do the initial bonus miles post? You will get the miles after the statement closes for the cycle in which you meet your minimum spend. Usually AS points show up the Sunday evening after your statement closes, but sometimes it takes an additional week.
If there's a statement credit, when does it post?
It seems to be batch-processed. It will post automatically. Can be on the same statement or the next statement. It does not appear to be based on the statement close date.

I have three platinum cards that are waiting to be converted to the signature and the fees came due.
After talking to the CSR, it appears that we will pay the platinum fee of $50, and then we won't be billed the $75 visa signature fee until the next calendar year. So I paid them.
Basically, we get the signature card for the lower fee. The letters I received saying my request to convert the cards was approved say that I will be billed the higher fee the next year.
This could be a great coup assuming the visa signature 25k bonuses come through with the statement credits. In addition, I already had the 5k bonuses come through for the platinum cards, so it'll be interesting to see if they simply credit the difference in miles (an additional 20k miles) or credit the full 25k miles.
Best case scenario: 30k miles per card, $100 statement credit, and only $50 fee.
I will update once I actually receive the new visa signature cards.

FYI those who got the platinum cards and then got "upgraded" to signature, the bonus will be 20k, just a few months late

Did you sign up for the deal with the $100 statement credit? If so, were you able to do the spend on the new visa signature cards and get the credit without issue?

Question for everyone. My wife froze her Experian credit report. Made 2 applications. First application was denied online. Second application showed under review. She called in and they approved application 1 with a high CL but said they could not approve a second card. Now online both applications show "under review". How long does it take for the online system to show as approved?
Wife will probably try and call in tomorrow and give a sob story on needing the second card and see what happens.

Alaska Airlines card offers, Personal & Business, 25K and up
is the $100 statement for 'new accounts' only? I was able to get approved for 2 (without having to call in). Does that mean the second card won't be eligible for statement credit? It's fine if it is not but just checking to see if anyone has data points since the 100 statement offer is still a relatively new offer. I read through the last couple of pages and did not see info and I am not going to call, but if it's only for new accounts then I have other spend to work on. Thanks!

In my case, it was 1 or 1.5 mos before I got the new Signature card to upgrade my platinum ... very slow. I spent $1000+ on the Platinum while waiting and got the $100 stmt cr before I even got the Signature version.
