Which cards should I look at?
Currently:
Amex Blue Cash (2007) BOA Power Rewards (2004) Chase Freedom (2011) - $300 Citi ThankYou (2011) - $400 Chase Southwest (2011) - 50k points I handled my signups poorly and so after the Freedom and Southwest, I was denied for the Sapphire Preferred. I can't apply with Chase for another 5 months due to this. My preference is for sign up bonuses and then airline miles. The easier the miles are to redeem, the better. I'll have some larger transactions coming up and so I can meet minimum spending requirements. I looked for a thread that had offers consolidated, however did not find it, so if there is one, I'll dig through it myself. Any input is appreciated. |

I'd do the Citi AA x 2, Amex Plat (50k), and maybe something else (e.g. US Airways) now (or wait and see if CapOne comes out with 100k bonus again for March Madness), and in 5 months do another churn, making sure you hit Chase.
Thanks a bunch for the ideas. |
well avoid chase
so why not go for the Barclays US airways card..i think 40k within first purchase no min spending also throw in some Amex card....lots available...could also do a hilton amex.. how long ago did u do the citi card? |

Occasionally there are bonus promos, such as last summer when it ran 5% cashback on dinning and hotels. Points don't convert directly to cash but you can get gift cards for Fairmont, Hertz, etc. or use points to book travel directly. |
