US Airways cc, cancellation effect on miles?
 

I have had my US Airways Master Card for 11 months and I'm considering canceling it before they charge the annual fee. I received 35K bonus miles upon opening the account, and also used the card for a grand slam hit. Would I lose my bonus miles or Grand Slam miles if I cancel the card now?

Do you know that you will get 10000 miles at your one year annivesary?

You shouldn't lose any Grand Slam miles for cancelling the credit card. That language referred to subscription services like newspapers, Netflix, etc.... That being said, it will likely count for a hit next year and you get 10,000 points at renewal, so it is a card many people choose to keep.

@JCary. Thanks for your feedback! I've already got the exact number of miles I need, and the anniversary 10,000 are not really worth the fee for me.

I just got approved for the US Air Premier World cc. I don't see anything about 10,000 anniversary bonus? Is that still included?
