I believe both of the BoA cars for Hawaiian pull Transunion. They convert to HH at a nice rate.

Not true for me, Experian was used and they were 2 separate pulls for each card even though applications were submitted at the same time.

Doesn't it matter which state you are in? A bank might pull TU if you live in one state, and EX if you live in another.

There is a thread on FT, started by ingy, that seeks to collect this information for the benefit of all.

You had 2 pulls on your credit because one is a BofAmerica card and the other is a BofHawaii card even though both offer HawaiianMiles.

As for Original Post, you should check creditboards.com's "Creditpull" database. You can search by card name, bank name and specify what state you are applying from to see a credit cards history. They have applicants' credit score, what agency was pulled and whether they were denied or accepted for the card.

It is a great resource for this type of question.

True. For me BOA always pulls Experian because of where I live. I know Citi pulls Equifax for some parts of the country but for my area they will pull nothing but Experian.

The only two that always pull TU for me are Barclays and Discover, but they might pull one of the others for people in other parts of the country.

It depends on where you live...

Citi and Chase always pull Transunion for me & my parents, live in Southeast PA.

Barclays only pulls TransUnion nationwide. Why we people in Experian states luv 'em !

Capitol One pulls all 3 bureaus. Avoid !

Choice Visa 40K bonus. Give it a try, sounds like you rattle em off anyway.

BOA (really FIA) pulled Experian for my HA cards in SoCal. Citi also pulled Experian for the HHonors card.
