So is it still worth it to go for the CO Biz card now and snap up 25k CO miles?

I realize this may be a gamble as it may be converted to UA Biz come Jan or Feb and thus making me ineligible for future UA Biz cards (I would take another gamble by closing that out by Feb latest). But there's no firm facts supporting this yet? Also no wording anywhere applying the 7/19 date to Biz cards?

Looking for opinions, thanks.

Application Date.

Could you advise how you know this? I just tried to cancel mine and was offered 10K miles so I kept it open. I really don't want to risk not being able to not get a untied bonus in the future.

I opened my Continental card in March.

The reason is simple - OP comes to the end in December in theory.

So how can they credit to a program that no longer exist?

According to a previous post, the conversion won't happen until first quarter 2012?

Yes - in theory, as they can't really do anything until they are merged.

But the issue is - which number survives?

Chase's system will have to be upgraded in order to capture the new account nunber (OP/M+).

And historically, Chase is really slow in phasing out products anyway.

So, I got the CO onepass in March, during mileathon. Does this mean I need to cancel it now to ever be eligible for a United bonus? I did not know that.

Technically, you should be able to get the new UA card since you got your CO card before 7/19. Personally, I would close your CO card before it gets converted to the new UA card. Who knows what will happen if it gets converted and you apply for it.

I'm going to cancel my CO card before the end of the year.
