Chargesmart can only pay for limited/specific bills (mortgage/car loan/student loan/utility) and the fee can go upwards close to 3%. I will suggest changing your w-2 and pay your tax (federal and state) via officialpayments.com (2.x % fee). If you are desperate then might try squareup (I have no personal experience with it).

everyone who doesn't live with mommy or is independently wealthy either pays mortgage or rent. chargesmart takes care of mortgage, any other payment service (paypal, amazon payments, venmo, paydivvy, etc...) can handle rent.
Amex is a bit harder to use (because chargesmart doesn't take them) but can be done as well.
