Duplicate applications
 
I applied on line for a Citi AA Amex card, and got no tracking number after 48 hours. Called the service rep, and they had no record of the application, so I reapplied (also on line). Was this a mistake? What will happen if there are two applications in the process at the same time? Has this happened to anyone else?

So, I got both cards, and both rewards. Called customer service, and was told I should keep them. Oh well.
