Personally, I think the rename is fine. I just thought they were talkboard initiated events at FT.

Yes, it did get renamed. We've had an onslaught of credit card queries, some posted appropriately, some not so much. The moniker "Other Credit Card" forum confused rather than clarified what was to be posted there. It certainly confused me. We've added descriptions as to what is suitable both there and in the AMEX Membership Reward forum. Hopefully, it will help members get to the right place to ask questions and get responses. That's certainly our goal.

I just noticed the re-org when skimming through the M&P forum list, and I say ^^^. The fuller forum descriptions (for both this forum and the Amex MR) are a major improvement, and ought to deter some of the misplaced posts (like the constant stream of Starwood Amex queries in the Amex MR forum). I also think it makes sense to list this forum ahead of specialty fora like Amex MR.

FYI, the descriptions don't exactly clarify where one should discuss a card like Amex Blue Cash, which doesn't earn MR points and is not co-branded. In theory that should be here rather than the MR board I suppose.

Understood. Feel free to start threads about American Express's other rewards programs (Blue Sky, or any type of cash) in either section and I will move them if required based on how the discussion evolves. In practice we do not have many discussions of cash rewards except as a comparison point for another type of reward.
