Let's just hope this isn't too well know beyond FTers or this "little secret" of ours might be closed soon.

god bless ya bud, and god bless them latinos

spanish line worked like a charm, really great and friendly agent. in a way gettin the pending msg on my app was a blessing in disguise. cause I got stuck with a plat plus when I last tried to churn this card in jan, that was an auto approve but a waste :/ but this time around this chill agent got me my VSig.

first I called the recon # listed in the AS CC thread, its not active or something and went straight to reg BoA CS. the lady then transferred me over to some kinda outsourced app status line I'm guessing in india or philippines judging by the accent. and that dude just said app was denied :/ ... this was literally five mins after I submitted it online where it said it was pending further review lol. dont think he knew what was talking about and in any case horrible CS out there. BoA needs to bring CS back on-shore for some more american call centers.

anyways hurray for spanish line for coming thru!

another Spanish line success story. After a quick 3 minute review, got approved no questions asked. Big thanks to the OP of the Spanish line!

Another +1 for Spanish recon line.
Applied for 2 Alaska Airlines visas using 2bt on Saturday night. 1 got approved, 2nd got got denied. Called Spanish line and without asking any questions she reversed the decision on the denied application

Another positive experience from the spanish line.

I applied for 3 AS cards and the third went to review. The rep was nice and polite but asked for a reason for that many apps. I mentioned that I wanted to keep the expenses separate and was approved with a quick review without an additional credit pull (waited a few days before I called in).

Looks like it.

"Thank you for calling. You have reached a non-working number at Card Services. Goodbye."

This was from 866-865-7843.

They probably shut-off the line because of too many English speaking callers since the number was posted on the 'net. Guess just have to wait and find out what the new Spanish # is.

Any update on the recon line? Gentleman on the phone said my only option was to write Bofa once I receive my yes/no letter... Which is only slightly ridiculous....

Called 877-721-9405 and hit zero, and got someone who approved my application in 2 minutes.

YMMV.

Same and thanks! Only thing I would change is to press 3 for "application status" then enter SSN, ZIP and phone #, then you can avoid doing it with the agent, if you wish.
