Any ideas for getting a credit card linked to a rewards program if my credit sucks! Perhaps a secured card or a prepaid one.....

If your credit really sucks, it will be extremely difficult if not impossible for you to get a unsecured credit card. Your best bet as you have guessed already would be a secured card, a store branded card or a prepaid card.

Good luck.

Some airlines have debit cards that earn miles - BofA has Alaska Airlines and US Airway debit cards. Chase has Continental airline debit card.

Though all these debit cards carry $25 to $50 annual fee.
