Churning roll-up
 

I'm trying to catch up on the churning changes. I don't keep on top of this as much as you pros do -- I come here about once a year and see what's up. But I'm having a hard time summarizing where things now stand. In the past I've churned for AA, UA, and SPG/Amex. I am currently holding all three, for at least a year each I expect.

Is there anything to do better than call up and beg for retention? Should I cancel one of them now and hope that, after waiting some amount of time without a card, I'll requalify for a sign-on bonus?
