Has anyone traveled to Colombia, Brazil or Argentina recently?

Will they accept a photo of our CDC cards?

Actually I am in Argentina, entered four weeks ago by plane from Europe and reentered last week by car from Uruguay.

A valid passport is sufficient (at least for me as a Swiss citizen). Covid is not a topic here in the country, nobody speaks about it anymore.

Ditto for Brazil. The lady at the land border barely even looked at my vax card and half of the border staff at the airports werent even wearing masks so it shows you how much they care about the Covid rules. I highly doubt a photo will be an issue.

Just came back from Argentina last week. No one asked for my CDC card. They told us to bring it to the ferry because it was supposed to be required for entry to Uruguay but no one asked for it.

In the past 6 months I've been to Brazil 4 times and Colombia 6 times. I've been asked to show my vax card exactly 0 times.

Also with regards to Uruguay covid insurance is still required (or was as of a month ago) so we got a cheapo policy last minute but no one from the airline or passport control asked to see it.

I wasn't told that we needed covid insurance when we booked the ferry, only the vaccine certificate. It could be because it was a day trip.

We arrived via air so maybe different rules. They didnt check our vaccine cards either. Not sure if its still in effect though. Its still on the Uruguay embassy website for the US.
