Using same Covid test for two countries
 

Can I use the same PCR test result to enter Portugal and Morocco from UK. I have an overnight layover in Lisbon I should exit the airport in the night and will check in again in the morning for the last leg of the flight .As Morocco wants negative PCR within last 48 hrs from Feb 7th.

Provided it’s within the time requirement for both countries, yes.

AFAIK Portugal requires no more PCR tests.

It’s still an option though - currently 72 hours for PCR, 48 for antigen. As the OP needs a PCR for Morocco, it makes sense financially and practically to only take the single PCR test rather than an antigen for Portugal followed by a PCR for Morocco.

With a vacc cert or recovery cert no test is needed.

I do the same with one test - was used in transit in USA and next in Portugal - everything was ok.

But as said above now tests are not required.

Which is not what the OP is asking … plus still has Morocco’s requirements to satisfy.

I’m not.sure why it’s necessary to muddy the waters by throwing in something wholly irrelevant when it’s a new member asking the question.

Because he might get a PCR in Portugal and thus safely being within the time limit of Morocco.

At no point does the OP say he or she has the option of a recovery certificate.

I’m making what hopefully is a reasonable assumption that the OP has met all the other requirements in terms of departure country etc, and that arrival is at a mainland airport given the onward connection (and indeed the information given backs this up)..

As of 3rd February, using the very page you provided the link to, Portugal still requires a test to be taken - either 48h (antigen) or 72h (PCR) prior to arrival. In spite of much conjecture that this would be relaxed, that hasn’t yet happened and a vaccination record only still isn’t sufficient. I think you must simply have misread it, but it really is important those of us who’ve kicked around for a while do try and give accurate advice if we can.

Here’s the relevant bit (my bolding):
A fine of between 300 and 800 Euros could be imposed for non-compliance, and as the OP has to enter Portugal for an overnight stay the chance of that happening increases greatly.
