Testing to enter USVI [merged thread]
They are still requiring a test within 5 days of entry (PCR or Rapid). Can you use the Binaxnow at home rapid tests from CVS? No indication on website.

Antibody Test for Travel to USVI?
Hi Everyone! My family is traveling to USVI from CA in July 2021. I'm wondering if anyone has had actual experience traveling to St Thomas STT, St John, or St Croix with positive covid antibody test results (as opposed to a negative covid pcr test) uploaded and approved by the USVI travel portal. Please let me know anything from your experience that can be useful, like where you got tested (we're hoping they'll accept antibody results from a CVS minute clinic). PCR testing location that was accepted by USVI would be helpful too just in case we have to go that route instead. TIA!

My daughter used the antibody test result from the lab her doctor sent her to. She lives down there so it was a local one. She had no problems returning to the island a couple of times.
Regarding PCR tests - on the second page of the portal instructions, there is a link to the approved labs. In the advanced search you can search by geographic location. "3. I understand that the laboratory I select to perform my COVID-19 test, including those that offer in-home, mail-in services, should be certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA). https://www.cdc.gov/clia/LabSearch.html." |
Let me also suggest, if you decide not to go with the antibody test, an antigen test, which is very quick and should be covered by insurance. I took one Monday for USVI travel and was cleared by the portal yesterday.
