How far in advance should I book a ticket to get a good price for their business class ? Thanks

Depends on the route and the time of the year you are planning to fly. 2 to 3 months, before the date of the trip for an off season time to NYC (Mid January to mid April), is the sweet spot. For Argentina (EZE) and Uruguay(MVD), 2 months is also perfect. Also take in consideration the day of the week you are trying to fly, Tuesday and Wednesday I always find the best fare for business.
However, at the end of the day, use the Google flight calendar tool, in that way you will always find the best price. You will see the pattern in the timeline and catch the best spot for time.
There are a lot of things to consider that can be specific for a route.

Very dependent on the route, I recently bought a ticket at a great price 11 months out and prices went up from there onwards. Know your pricing on the route and then book when the price is right.

Something like 10 months ago I bought refundable business class tickets for SFO-PTY-LIM, one-way in July, for about $2,500 per. Then, about three months ago, I saw the same OW route available for half that price, but nonrefundable. I canceled the refundable tickets and bought the nonrefundable ones.

I have no idea if my experience is a common one, but there’s another data point.
