Copa Club Terminal 2
I didn’t see a thread for the new lounge but I just visited and my key takeaways are below:
- a huge improvement from the Terminal 1 club - food wasn’t upgraded. Maybe more choices of sandwiches lol. - they have a Coke freestyle machine - I like the open air feel with the seating close to the terminal. |
It is indeed a spacey lounge and the bar is hosted with bar chairs, too.
Food wise, it is truly a let down and is identical to the terminal 1. There is no hot food option, honestly, all this is embarrassing for a Copa flagship lounge |
True, I’ve haven’t seen a poorer selection of “options” within other airline lounges. I’m anxious to have the planned eateries for terminal 2 move in and open. It couldn’t happen soon enough.
We would eat in any of those and saunter to the lounge afterwards. |
This is in PTY? I was just through there yesterday and went all the way over to the Terminal 1 lounge because this new one isn't listed on the Star Alliance Lounge Finder. Wish I had known about it!

COPA lounge, Bogotá. Amazing lounge if you are fasting. |

But there's a great coffee machine just to the left, right? ;)

Are the food offering in PTY COPA clubs in T1 and T2 identical? Last time I was in T1 COPA club was mainly packaged cookies, chips, chocolate bar...etc. T2 club had sandwiches and bagels but no packaged food.

Do they still not allow any food from the outside vendors? Remember seeing someone getting told off for trying to bring in food

The T2 Copa lounge at PTY is really nice. The design is thoughtful and well executed. The business center is quiet and plenty of power outlets. The sleeping lounge is never overcrowded (at least not when I pass through). There is plenty of space when I travel alone for business or with my family to visit friends and family. The bartenders are prompt and kind, and the selection is appropriate.
So, why do they insist on not providing decent food? I just don't understand. |
