COPA Air Seat Selection
Hey, I was wondering if there were any special benefits of being *Gold for advanced seat selection on Copa. Online, it will let me choose premium seats for free, but when I called them, they said they may charge the fee at the airport? Does anyone have any experience reserving premium seats then getting charged an unknown fee at the airport? Or will it be free because I'm Star Gold?

The benefit of complementary premium seats for *A Gold seems to be cancelled since September.

Copa is rolling out their new "premium" economy-plus whatever you call it section... rows 5 & 6 on the 737-800s, and I think even the exit rows. You'll soon have to start paying for those unless you are a Copa Miles elite.
