No-show for the connection flight
Dear all,
I have a one-way ticket from SAL to SJO via PTY with Copa economy T class. Itinerary will be: CM411 SAL 14:05 -> PTY 17:10 (overnight in PTY) CM787 PTY 07:52 (+1) -> SJO 08:13 (+1) My question will be: When I finish taking CM411 and arrive in PTY, May I just walk away and don't take CM787 on the next morning? (without checkin/cancel for CM787) In this case, will I be charged any fee for penalty? (I need to neither rebook nor refund.) I am not sure if this case is so-called no-Show or throw-away... I look forward to your answers and thanks a lot in advance. :) |
If this is a one off situation you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Now if this violates any legal statuses you'd have for immigration purposes that falls on you to abide to.

I'm pretty sure this is the definition of hidden city ticketing (or whatever), but I agree that as a one-off, it shouldn't be a problem. I can't possibly imagine that CM's systems are good enough to catch something like this and do what? retroactively charge your credit card or something?
