CO Standby list

I flew CO for the first time recently and am curious to know their standby procedures. I used to work for an airline with a very simple standby clearing procedure beginning with revenue standbys. Then, employees boarded based on time of check-in. It didn't matter if you were a PT ramp agent or worked in corporate (except for those with PS).

On CO, I assume elites go first followed by general customers followed by employees. Does anyone know the priority list for boarding employees? Is it by seniority or check-in? Does it differ between position (i.e. CSA vs. corporate staff, etc...?

Just looking for a quick comparison!

Thanks!

The standby lists are prioritized:
  1. Elite IRROPs
  2. Non-elite IRROPs
  3. Elite voluntary
  4. Non-elite voluntary
  5. Pass riders

I have no idea what the prioritization is within the various pass levels, but I believe there are different strata.

For Non-Revs its somthing like this
PS0 upper management
PS1 other management/employees on business travel
SA1 Supervisors
SA2 Not sure what this one is
SA3 Most Employees
SA4 Employees spouses/children/parents
SA4R Retirees
SA5 Buddys passes/other airline employees

PS0 is also deadheading crew.
PS5 for employees/crew going to or returning from training.

IT is by status: ie SA3 for employee vs SA4 for employee dependent.
Then it goes by hire year. So you would see SA3P98 for an employee hired in 1998. If two or more people are same hire year then it is by check in time. If family travels together then they all go by highest boarding priority. Vacation passes puts the person to the top of their class and shows like SA3V98.
So you could have boarding order:
SA3V08
SA3P83
SA4V05
SA4P98

Thanks for the info! Do you know what priority entry-level employees in Finance or Network/Route Planning would fall under?

Again, looking to compare. hope this is okay for this forum.

Thanks again!

Unless they have a special need or designation, they would probably go as SA3P09 (if hired this year).
